Happy Easter, Happy Passover and Happy Spring Break!

I hope everyone enjoys their time off. Get lots of rest, exercise and fun! Happy Birthday, Alexandra!

And don’t forget to check out the bald eagle cam from our northern neighbors in Canada. (to be more accurate, it is British Columbia, Canada which is northwest) The link can be found in a previous post with a screen shot I took of the nest and the eaglets!

    Ms.Lenahan,
Happy Easter to you too!I am enjoying my vacation. Today I founnd 2 earthworms. And a mysterious creature that looks like a caterpillar in its 3rd instar. Can I bring it to school and see if you know what it is? I put lots of differet leaves from my backyard in a container and some dirt since it was buried there.

      Kelly,
Glad you are enjoying your vacation time. That insect larva that you found sounds strange! What color is it? How long is it? Can you write and tell me more details? Does it have legs?

Yes, you can bring it to school on Monday. Just make sure you don’t put the creature in the sun or anywhere it will get disturbed.

I am glad to hear you are getting outdoors. It really was a beautiful day today, too!

      Take care!

Ms.Lenahan, happy holidays! I have been checking out the Bald Eagle cam. It is so exciting to watch. I’ve also been checking the Red Tailed Hawks nest too. Nothing has happened yet, but I think something will happen before we go to school! Enjoy the rest of your Spring Break!!

      Ameena,
I also have been watching the bald eagle cam! About 30 minutes ago I got lucky and was able to see the mother eagle feed the two babies! Have you seen them yet??

You have a great break, too!
